They have been best friend for 10 years since the day that Tom mistakenly getting into bed with Hannah which he thought was 'Monica' (Hannah's roommate which the script writer didnt include her name)....when Hannah went to Scotland for 6 Sundays .. Tom feels that somethin was not quite right w/out Hannah...And he realised that Hannah is more than just a best friend for him...so he decided to tell Hannah about this feeling of his...

But when she returned from Scotland ...she brought herself a fiance...and then to add salt to his injury...she asked him to be her maid of honor...so most people assumed that he was gayy...

Okay...U just have to watch this.... quite funny and romantic...besides.....Some of the scene was taken in Scotland.....U just have to see Scotland .....knowing that scotland have a picturesque scenery....falling in love in Scotland is like fairy tales come true....
